A postcode you type in

When you use the postcode door, your browser sends the postcode to postcodes.io (https://api.postcodes.io) to find the council for it. This site does not receive the postcode, does not store it, and does not put it in any web address on this site.

Counting page loads

Each page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics (https://static.cloudflareinsights.com), which reports the page viewed, how long it took to load, the referring site and the browser type to https://cloudflareinsights.com. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies and asks for no personal information. It has no accounts and no forms that send anything to it.

A saved colour theme

If you choose light or dark, the choice is saved in your own browser under the name ukcouncils-theme and is never sent anywhere.
