What we record

When a published figure or statement needs correcting, the entry records the affected page, what it previously said, the correction, its official source and the date of the correction. Routine design changes and the addition of a new financial year are not factual corrections.

Source revisions are distinguished from errors in our reading or calculation. A source publication date is not presented as the date this site last changed.
